**Getting set up to trade**

Before you can trade, you will need a wallet that is compatible with Zetachain Athens 3 Testnet.&#x20;

You will also need to have some ZETA tokens to trade with.

### Trading on the AbstraDEX exchange

1. Go to [Swap](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/swap) page
2. Connect to your wallet
3. **Choose the token** you want to trade from the dropdown menu in the upper section.&#x20;

4. **Enter an amount** in the upper section to input the number of tokens you want to swap (spending amount). Or, enter an amount in the lower section to input the number of tokens you want to swap to (receiving amount).

5. Check all the details, and click the **Swap** button.

6. A window with more details will appear. Check the details are correct. When you are ready, click the **Confirm Swap** button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

7. After completing, you can check your transaction on blockchain explorer by clicking the link shown above.

# Liquidity

AbstraDEX is committed to constructing a DEX platform across Multi-chain, emphasizing dense liquidity to facilitate seamless transactions. Our goal is to ensure that transactions on AbstraDEX operate smoothly, providing users with a frictionless and efficient trading experience.

Participating in this process is straightforward – you can contribute liquidity for any token pair by staking both assets through the dedicated [Liquidity ](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/liquidity)page.

In exchange for providing liquidity, you become eligible for trading fees associated with that specific pair. Additionally, you'll receive LP Tokens, a valuable asset that can be further staked in Farms to unlock enticing ABS rewards. This dual benefit structure not only incentivizes liquidity provision but also creates an interconnected ecosystem where users can optimize their returns through multiple channels.

## How to Add Liquidity

1. Go to the [Liquidity](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/liquidity) page.

2. Click the “**Add Liquidity**” button.
3. Choose the two tokens in the trading pair you want to add liquidity. Here, we are going to use ABS and ZETA as an example.

4. Enter an amount on one of the tokens that you want to add liquidity to. \
   \
   The other should be calculated and filled automatically. If one of the tokens does not have enough balance. You will see an error and the button is greyed out. \
   \
   Please enter a lower amount to proceed or use the “**Max**” button to fill in the maximum available value.

5. Click the “**Supply**” button to carry out the process of adding liquidity
6. Your wallet will ask you for confirmation. Confirm your transaction from your wallet.
7. Soon after, you will see your LP Token balance on the Liquidity page.


# Yield Farming

Maximizing Returns through Yield Farming in AbstraDEX

Yield Farming stands out as an optimal mechanism for profit optimization within the DeFi space.&#x20;

Participants can strategically engage in farming by contributing liquidity to paired tokens, as a result, you will have a representative LP token to certify additional liquidity. Then, these LP tokens can be staked in Yield Farming to get lucrative rewards in the native ABS tokens.&#x20;

This lets you earn ABS while still keeping a position in your other tokens!

## How to Use Farms

#### 1. Get prepped

Yield Farming takes a little work to get set up.&#x20;

You’re going to need some "LP Tokens" to enter into Yield Farming. Farms can only accept their own exact LP Token; for example, the ABS-ZETA Farm will only accept ABS-ZETA LP Tokens.&#x20;

To get the exact LP Token, you'll need to provide liquidity for that trading pair. So to get ABS-ZETA LP Tokens, you'll first have to provide liquidity for the ABS-ZETA pair.&#x20;

Let's go to [Add Liquidity](/guide/liquidity) to read more. Let's go through step by step.

#### 2. Finding your Farm

Before proceeding, you need to determine to choose the Farm that is suitable for the assets you have.

Go to the[ Yield Farming](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/farms) page and you’ll see a list of available Farms.

#### 3. Providing liquidity to get LP Tokens

Now that you've found a Farm to stake in, you will need to add liquidity to get your LP Tokens.

* Click on the row of the Farm you've chosen from the list. It will open to show more details.
* On the left, you'll see some links:\
  **Get (your pair) LP:** go to Add Liquidity\
  **View Contract:** checking the contract of LP pool \

#### 4. Putting your LP Tokens into a Farm

Now that you have your LP Tokens, you’re ready to start staking them in a Farm and earning rewards!

* **Enable Staking Contract:** click the **Enable** button and confirm your action in your wallet.

* After the transaction is completed, a new window will display, and click on **Staking LP**

* **Stake LP Tokens:** Type the amount of LP Tokens you would like to farm into the field, or just click **Max** to use all of your LP Tokens.

When you have the amount entered, the **Confirm** button will light up. Click it. Your wallet will ask you to confirm your action.

* After the transaction is completed, you will see your new staked LP Token balance in the details.

The Farms process has been completed, you will wait to **Harvest** the reward, and the amount of **ABS reward** will be displayed on the window and will be accumulated continuously every minute.

## Adding or removing LP Tokens from a Farm

You may decide you would like to add more LP Tokens to a Farm at a later date, or to take some out of a Farm. You can do this very easily whenever you'd like.

Find the Farm you have LP Tokens in, and click the row to view details.&#x20;

You will see a - and + button on the right-hand side. Click - to **Remove LP Tokens**, or + to **Add more LP Tokens**.

**Unstake LP Tokens:** Enter the amount of LP Token you want to remove then click **Confirm** and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

*You will receive LP tokens and ABS reward tokens in your wallet*

**Add more LP Tokens:** Like Remove LP Tokens, you also will enter the amount of LP Token you want to remove then click **Confirm** and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

# Staking

The simplest way to earn on AbstraDEX

Staking on AbstraDEX offers a streamlined avenue to generate passive income, allowing you to earn ABS tokens or other select tokens effortlessly.&#x20;

Unlike the more intricate process of Yield Farming, AbstraDEX's Staking feature simplifies the earning process, requiring the staking of just one token, typically ABS, to initiate income accrual.

### **Getting started with Staking**

1. Go to [Staking ](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/pools)page
2. Connect to your wallet. Choose your wallet and connect.

3. Choose a Staking pool that suits your assets and desired profits.

4. Once you choose a pool, click the **Enable** button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

5. The window will change display. Click the **Stake** button to bring up the staking menu.

6. Enter an amount or slider bar to choose amount of token you want to stake.

7. Click **Confirm**. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
8. Check and follow the information about the pool you have staked such as Number of tokens staked, Number of your rewards, APY, and countdown expiration date.

### **Adding and Removing Tokens from a Pool**

You can easily add more Tokens to a Staking Pool, or move some Tokens to a more profitable pool.

* Click the "**-"** to take some Tokens out of a pool, or the "**+"** to add more Tokens to the pool.

* A window will open.&#x20;

If you clicked the "**+"**, choose the amount you would like to add to the pool.

If you clicked the "**-"**, choose the amount to take out of the pool.

# ABS Staking Pool

## Stake ABS, earn ABS!

PancakeSwap now offers one CAKE Syrup Pool with two staking options: flexible staking or fixed-term staking.&#x20;

## What’s the difference between “Flexible” and “Fixed-Term” staking?

With both, you can simply stake your ABS tokens to earn more ABS tokens with no deposit fees. Flexible staking allows users to stake ABS and earn rewards with the ability to unstake whenever they please. Fixed-term staking allows users to maximise their yield and earn even more ABS by locking their staked ABS for a period of time they choose, earning a linearly boosted yield compared to flexible staking.&#x20;

Flexible staking and fixed-term staking are both part of the same pool to allow users easy migration between the two staking options. However, when you do fixed-term staking, there is an option to perform flexible ABS staking on the side.

### Flexible Staking

Stake your ABS and forget about it! ABS rewards will be automatically distributed and included in your staking balance, minus a small fee.&#x20;

**If you have ABS staked in flexible staking**

> ✅ Add more ABS to flexible staking \
> ✅ Harvest rewards any time \
> ✅ Withdraw any time (fees apply for the first 72 hours, see below) \
> ✅ Convert all staked ABS in flexible to fixed-term staking&#x20;

> ❌ Add ABS to fixed-term staking if you have any ABS in flexible staking \
> ❌ Convert part of the staked ABS in flexible to fixed-term staking

**Unstaking fee**&#x20;

> 🔸0.1%
 if you unstake (withdraw) within 72 hours. \
> 🔸Only applies within 3 days of manually staking. \
> 🔸After 3 days, you can unstake with no fee. \
> 🔸The 3-day timer resets every time you manually stake more ABS in the pool. \
> 🔸This fee only applies to manual unstaking: it does not apply to automatic compounding.

Performance fee&#x20;

> 🔸2%, subtracted automatically from each yield harvest. \
> 🔸For example, if the harvest were 1 ABS, then 0.02 ABS would be subtracted as the performance fee.

The ABS collected via the unstaking fee and performance fee is burned every week as part of the regular ABS token burns.&#x20;

This is a good thing for ABS holders because it reduces the overall amount of ABS tokens in existence, which helps reduce inflation.

### Fixed-Term Staking

Stake your ABS for a fixed amount of time to maximise yields and receive additional benefits! ABS rewards will be locked along with the staked ABS until the staking duration ends.

#### Advantage:

> ✅No performance fees \
> ✅The longer you lock, the higher the boost applied to the yield! Always offering a higher yield compared to flexible staking! \
> ✅ABS rewards will unlock, along with your staked ABS, when your lock duration expires \
> ✅Once staked in **fixed-term** staking, you cannot withdraw until the end of your lock duration.

**If you have ABS staked in Locked**

> ✅ Add more CAKE to lock\
> ✅ Extend the lock period\
> ✅ Perform flexible staking on the side

> ❌ Harvest rewards\
> ❌ Withdraw before the lock ends


# Flexible Staking

## How to use the Flexible Staking option

1. Go to [Staking ](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/pools)page
2. Connect to your wallet. Choose your wallet and connect.
3. Choose the "**Stake ABS Stake, Earn – And more!**" Pool and click the **Enable** button.&#x20;

   Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
4. &#x20;The new window will appear with **Flexible** and **Locked**. Click the button to bring up the staking menu.

5. If you choose **Flexible**, press the button and the **Stake in Pool** window will appear, enter the amount of ABS you wish to stake, click **Confirm,** and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

6. Check and track information in the pool you have staked such as Number of ABS Staked, Recent ABS profit&#x20;

# Fixed-Term Staking

## How to use the Fixed-Term Staking option

1. Go to [Staking ](https://exchange.abstradex.xyz/pools)page
2. Connect to your wallet. Choose your wallet and connect.
3. Choose the "**Stake ABS Stake, Earn – And more!**" Pool and click the **Enable** button.&#x20;

   Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
4. The new window will appear with **Flexible** and **Locked**. Click the button to bring up the staking menu.

5. If you choose **Fixed-Term**, press the button and the **Lock ABS** window will appear, enter the amount of ABS you wish to stake and for how long you want to lock your ABS for.\

   Below that, you will find a summary of your position, including yield, lock duration, and unlock date and time. Double-check to make sure you are okay with the lock duration and amount staked, click **Confirm,** and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

### Extending your lock staking duration

You can always extend the time of your locked ABS by simply clicking "**Extend**" and choosing how much time you want to add on top of the **initial lock duration**.&#x20;

Remember, the longer you lock, the higher your yield will be boosted. **The maximum locking duration is 52 weeks.**

Double-check to make sure you are okay with the new extended lock duration and click **Confirm**.

### Adding more CAKE to your lock

You can easily do that by renewing your fixed-term staking position. Simply click "Add ABS" and choose how much ABS you want to deposit.&#x20;

Please note that adding more ABS to an existing lock resets your staking term based on the remaining lock duration, essentially “renewing” your fixed-term staking position. This results in a lower yield boost because your new lock duration is lower than your initial lock duration.
